The Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP) Faculty of Engineering-UNDIP participated in a cooperation meeting with the Attache of the French Embassy for research and technology cooperation, Mr. Dr. Thierry Goubier, on November 25, 2021 in the Diponegoro University Chancellor’s Meeting Room. DURP is one of the departments at Diponegoro University that has very close cooperation with various institutions in France. Since 2006, the PWK Department has sent students in double degree programs to various universities in France, such as Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, Sorbone University, Université Lyon 2, cole Nationale de Travaux Publique, Université La Rochelle, Université Nantes. The meeting which was also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Cooperation at Diponegoro University, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Head of the International Affairs Office, and the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Architects, and Electrical Engineering discussed opportunities for future collaboration between Diponegoro University and the French Government through various joint research schemes, joint publications, and scholarship programs. In 2022, DURP Undip will hold a joint studio in collaboration with KotaLab France, UGM, ITB and Universitas Brawijaya in a series of 5th World Planning School Congress. (MS)
