Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) at Diponegoro University on held an online welcoming ceremony for our twenty-five new students on August 9, 2021. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M Agung Wibowo, MSc, MM, Ph. D accompanied by the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning delivered the warmest greeting welcome as well as to pump up the spirit of new students in starting their academic journey at Universitas Diponegoro.

Wido Prananing Tyas, Ph.D as the Head of the MURP also welcome new students and at the same time delivered initial information about the study program and concentrations. Introductions between lecturers, academic staffs and new students are also a part of the ceremony. This event is also a sign of the start of the fourteen-days matriculation program which includes basic introductory materials on urban and regional planning as well as on academic writing.

 

The 2021’s cohort of the MURP students consist of eleven students which are fully funded by Pusbindiklatren BAPPENAS, while others fourteen are self-funded students. These students are spread over five concentration, namely the concentration of Smart City, Urban Design, Regional Development Planning, Urban Management and Spatial Planning.
