The Welcoming Event of new students for the 2020-2021 academic year of the Diponegoro University, Master of Urban and Regional Planning was held on Monday, August 10, 2020. Even though currently the whole world is still struggling in the midst of a pandemic to fight the Covid-19 Virus, it is not an obstacle to the teaching-learning interaction process, with the help of technology online through several applications.

This activity was opened by Dr. Ir. Hadi Wahyono, MA as the Head of the Department and was attended by Bapak Ali Muharam,SIP,MA, Bapak Pandu Pradhana, Bapak Reza Satrya A ( from BAPPENAS), lecturers and 40 of new Master by Course students. The 40 new students consist of 3 German linkage students, 3 Japanese linkage students, 5 Smart City program students, and another students from concentration of Spatial Planning, Management of Urban Planning and Regional Development. Although generally the interactions that occur are limited, it is hoped that in the future there will be good collaboration between lecturers and students so that the planning process in Indonesia can be even better, as a result of discussion and learning activities of MURP Undip students.
